Embassy of Latvia in Brussels

The Latvian Embassy is located along the former Petite Ceinture railway. The building occupies a plot that spans an entire block, extending 80 meters in length. Its main façade faces 23 Avenue des Arts, while the rear façade opens onto Rue du Commerce.
The project consists of replacing the existing façades on Avenue des Arts and Rue du Commerce with new high-security glazed façades. The installation of triple glazing provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
The façade design was developed by the Danish architecture firm Arrow (Copenhagen), in collaboration with Greenarch (Brussels). The new façade divisions along Avenue des Arts bring a clearer visual structure to the building and introduce a renewed architectural rhythm.
