Showcasing Heritage Through Contemporary Design
Founded in 1911, Santos Palace is a renowned Brussels coffee roaster specializing in premium coffee and tea. The commercial space benefits from a unique dual-frontage: one entrance at 3 Rue du Marché aux Poulets, and the other at 13 Rue Devaux, right in the heart of Brussels.
Our design concept focused on celebrating the brand’s heritage while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The material palette—wood, textured tiles, and rich paint tones—was carefully selected to echo the colors and character of freshly roasted coffee. To reinforce the brand’s craftsmanship, a roasting machine was placed prominently in the shop window, allowing passers-by to witness the artisanal process and enjoy the aroma of coffee drifting into the street.
The through-shop layout offers seamless access from both entrances, enhancing visibility and visitor flow between Rue du Marché aux Poulets and Rue Devaux.
A project where architectural design elevates tradition, experience, and sensory appeal.
